Doing a quick reading of my classmate's blog, i can see a ovearall good work on the structures of sentences and well developed ideas about the topics, these topics are basically talking about the same. The need of new technologies for transaltion related necessities on dalily life and more often for work and professional purposes.

The entry (last one) talks about a 'translation competence'; this is what really makes a tranlator what he/she is, not just knowking 2 languages make you a translator, and of course, not at all a professional one.
